Among these commentators, some commentators are thinking that this offensive tone is due to the deal of Honey browser with PayPal. According to this deal, in November 2019, PayPal and Honey browser were linked with each other in a deal of $4 billion. That’s why it is known as the best competitor of Amazon. Due to this reason, there is a possibility that Amazon is not accepting it as its competitor. That’s why it is asking to their customers that they should immediately uninstall this extension from their browsers. Anyhow, this conversation of the commentators is totally opposite to the conversation of the Amazon.

According to The Verge, they have discussed this problem with one of the best spokesperson of Amazon. After discussing the whole situation, they come to know that according to the spokesperson of Amazon, Amazon is telling the true situation to their customers and all the other commentators are providing them with some undue claims. He has also told that it is their responsibility to warn their customers and now, it is up to the customers either they want to hide their privacy or not. In the case of any problem, the Amazon team will not be responsible because the Amazon team is warning the customers in advance.

According to him, Honey extension is collecting data and information for their members only to provide help to the customers. By collecting this information, their aim is to save time and money of the customers. Moreover, he has also explained that they never try to get access to the private information of the users. It means that they have set a line in order to make sure about the privacy of the users and they never try to cross this line. It means that their users don’t have any kind of privacy threat from them.
